You may be tempted to clean your child’s school medals, but most medal collectors will advice not to so unless done professionally. Normally cleaning involves abrasive materials which will eventually blur the details of the school medals because of rubbing and the chemicals involved.

In a few years time you will not be able to recognize any of the detail. If you want to clean the school medals make sure you use a quality product such as a non-abrasive cleaner used for jewellery. Many supermarkets and pharmacies stock such cleaners, but you should also be able to get a non-abrasive cleaner from your nearest jewellery maker or can contact us for assistance in cleaning the school medals properly. We are also able to custom make school medals for your annual prize giving functions.
