Wooden plaques
Wooden plaques are a great choice to be placed on outdoor structures. The material can be easily etched or engraved and you are guaranteed that the etching or engraving will not fade or deteriorate over time. Wood is also ideal for name plates and other name boards depicting place names or other information. Wooden plaques can also be used on a wall of fame showing the names of people or events that may be important to the place or structure. Numbers and names of apartments or buildings look better etched on wood. Wood is also hard wearing and will not easily deteriorate in less than ideal conditions.

Engraved plaques
If you are dedicating a building or structure to a certain person or event, an engraved plaque will be necessary. The plaque can depict details of the dedication such as the date of the dedication, who or what the structure has been dedicated to and why the dedication was made. This will ensure that the dedication will last in people’s memories for time immemorial. Thus it is important to choose a material that will last a long time and not tarnish or corrode no matter what the elements that it will have to endure. It is also important to ensure that the correct information is displayed on the plaque so that people will understand the dedication.
